With nearly two decades of experience in academic publishing, Ms. Menon will provide valuable guidance to help researchers successfully navigate the publishing process.

The session will cover the following topics:

5) Invitation to join AIT Sustainability Research Trends Workshop & Inter-University SDG Research Competition

The OSC has been dedicated to advancing AIT’s vision of creating a sustainable campus, continually promoting sustainability initiatives that permeate all aspects of campus life. As part of our ongoing efforts, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge and tools they need to become effective contributors to sustainable development throughout their careers.

We are pleased to invite you to the AITSustainability Research Trends Workshop, scheduled for 31 October 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the RBB Auditorium, AITCC. This exciting event will explore cutting-edge research and practical solutions to global sustainability challenges, with a special focus on aligning efforts with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Event Highlights:

• Session 1: Drones Contribution to SDGs – Presented by DroneEntry (Thailand) Co., Ltd., exploring how drone technologies contribute to SDG achievement.
• Session 2: Recycling for a Sustainable Campus – Led by the Yunus Center AIT, showcasing innovative approaches to creating a zero-waste campus.
• Session 3: Digital Carbon Footprint & Mitigation – Presented by Greenie Web, Singapore, focusing on digital tools for measuring and mitigating carbon footprints.

Alongside these sessions, there will be an Inter-University SDG Research Competition, where students from various universities will showcase their research aligned with SDGs in the AITCC lobby. The competition will award prizes of THB 20,000, THB 15,000, and THB 10,000, with the top prize sponsored by the Yunus Center AIT.
