4. Online Performance Appraisal 2020 (covering the period 1 July 2019-30 June 2020)

To all immediate supervisors and Unit Directors of direct-hire (centrally-funded) staff members,
Please be informed that the online performance appraisal for this year 2020, covering the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020, is now open.
The online system can be accessed through the “PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL” link in the HRIS menu (https://hris.ait.ac.th). The immediate supervisors are able to now complete the individual Performance Appraisal Reports for all employees under their supervision, and submit them individually (electronically). The Unit Heads shall then review and endorse all completed Performance Appraisal Reports not later than 18 September 2020.
The online / web-based system has archived the appraisal results from 2014 (“Appraisal History” link in the HRIS menu) and will build up annual data that will be available to directors / immediate supervisors and AIT Management.
The performance appraisal process will be carried out in conjunction with the annual budget process. These annual performance appraisal results will be used for the purpose of determining the annual salary adjustment and staff training and development needs and will be taken into consideration in preparing the 2021 year budgets.

5. Personal data for 2020 Income Tax calculation

Dear Faculty and Staff,
To ensure that personal income tax of AIT faculty and staff comply with Tax Regulation, it is imperative that we have a correct record of your personal data in our system. Please log in the web link, https://hris.ait.ac.th to update your personal data. Use your AIT email account credential to login then click “View Employee Profile”. Furthermore, please update or complete your contact information such as the name and telephone number of your emergency contact person.
For employees with children, particular attention is required on the status of your children as recorded in the system, check if it is correct. Update the system if they are studying or working either here in Thailand or abroad. Please request to amend as appropriate.
Any changes in your personal data from previous to current year should be supported with documents in hard copies. These include passport copy, marriage certificate, child's birth certificate as well as receipts of investment in retirement mutual fund (RMF), personal health insurance and personal long term life insurance.
Please submit it to Khun Lalana in the Office of Human Resources Services (OHRS), Room 223, Second Floor of the Administration Building within 8 October 2020.

6.[Staff] Re-introduction of On-Campus EET

Language Center is ready to re-introduce the on-campus EET starting the last week of September. Please communicate to potential applicants and/or direct them to the link here. Given the covid-19 situation, we will allow all Thai applicants to choose whether they wish to take the on-campus EET or online EET. (Note that previously, we only allowed Thai applicants in distant provinces to take online EET.)
Please also note the following policies:
If an applicant takes the EET on-campus, he or she will not be required to take in-person AWPT upon arrival. The on-campus EET score will be inputted by LC as their English score on the SIS system once the applicant is on the SIS.
If an applicant takes the online EET, he or she will be required to take in-person AWPT upon arrival to validate the online score.
The testing fee is 1,000 bht for both versions of EET.
