For those who are interested to know the details of the funeral rites for Ir. Erik L.J. Bohez, please be informed that the funeral rites will be held at Wat Lam Phraya, Sam Chuk, Suphanburi Province starting November 6 to 8, 2020 at 8.00 p.m. The cremation ceremony will be held on Monday, 9 November 2020, at 4.00 p.m.
Transportation will be arranged from AIT to Suphanburi on the 9th of November 2020. The van will leave from ISE parking lot at 1:00 p.m. and will return to AIT after the ceremony. If anyone wishes to attend the cremation ceremony, please contact K. Chaowwaret Sudsawaeng by email, chowaret@ait.ac.th.
2) Update of Public Holidays in December 2020

Following the announcement by the Thai government, the Father's Day compensatory holiday on Monday, December 7, 2020 will be observed on Friday, December 11, 2020. Please be informed that the President approved for the Institute to observe such change, as well as observe Constitution Day on Thursday, December 10, 2020 as an additional holiday for this year.
In summary, December 10 and 11, 2020 will be official public holidays for AIT.

5) Must-attend two-part workshop on Patent! [5 and 12 November] Register now!
Dear AIT Family,
We are pleased to invite you to attend the two-part workshop “How to Think Like a Patent Professional” which aims to introduce how the world of patent works, what patent professionals do, and why they do what they do. The sessions will be delivered by experts who are grounded in both legal and technical practices and they will make sure to familiarize the participants with the “patenting logics” which will likely help with their career as would-be inventors or innovative entrepreneurs.

We are trying to bring your strength back, we proudly present "AIT Fun Run".
Come out and let us run on Thursday, November, 12th.
Rules of AIT Fun Run
1. There is only one distance (5,000 meters or 5 km).
2. No walk-in participant is allowed.
3. Runners should wear the proper clothes, appropriate gears are recommended for participants
4. The first three based on gender will be the winners and will get gold, silver and bronze.
5. The first five based on gender will get a T-shirt.
6. The first 10 of males and the first 10 of females will receive a certificate
7. A bronze medal will be given to runners who come afterward (Limited 23 males and 23 females)
8. Every runner needs to pass all checkpoints and collect all emblems.
9. Observers and runner's friends have to wear a mask.
10. Runners need to wear a mask during registration.
11. All runners should be ready at the start line before 5.00 PM
12. Runners who come to the finish line after 1 hour and 30 minutes will be disqualified.
