(ii) Vacancy Announcement: Two Vice Presidents Positions (VPAA and VPA) (Office of the President )
AIT seeks qualified professionals and outstanding individuals who will provide the leadership required for the positions of Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) and Vice President for Administration (VPA), and who are motivated to join a graduate education institution about to embark on a re-positioning of introducing innovation in education across the board. (iv) Personal data for 2018 Income Tax calculation

Dear Faculty and Staff,
To ensure that personal income tax of AIT faculty and staff comply with Tax Regulation, it is imperative that we have a correct record of your personal data in our system. Please log in the web link, https://hris.ait.ac.th to update your personal data. Use your AIT email account credential to log in then click “View Employee Profile”. Furthermore, please update or complete your contact information such as the name and telephone number of your emergency contact person.
For employees with children, particular attention is required in the status of your children in the system, check if it is correct. Update the system if they are studying or working either here in Thailand or abroad. Please request to amend as appropriate.
Any changes on your personal data from previous to current year should be supported with documents in hard copies. These include passport copy, marriage certificate, birth certificates of your children as well as receipts of investment in RTF/LTF and personal life insurance.
Please submit it to Khun Denphoom in the Office of the Human Resources Services (OHRS), Room 223, Second Floor of the Administration Building within 2 October 2018.

(v) Condolence: passing away of the mother of Mrs. Suda Inta, Administrative Staff, OHCR

We have learned with deep sorrow the passing away of the mother of Mrs. Suda Inta, Administrative Staff at the Office of Host Country Relations on 21st September 2018.
A funeral rite and the cremation ceremony were held at Wat Bang Kwak, Sam Chuk District, Suphan Buri Province.
On behalf of the AIT Community, we wish to express our condolences and sympathies to Khun Suda and her family during this time of bereavement.

(vii) Web of Science Discovery Quiz 2018

(viii) Change to WhatsApp Backup in Google Drive

Dear users,
Due to a new agreement between WhatsApp and Google, WhatsApp backups will no longer count against Google Drive storage quota. However, any WhatsApp backups that have not been updated in more than a year will automatically be removed from storage. This policy will go into effect for all users on November 12, 2018 though some users may see the quota benefits earlier.
To avoid the loss of any backups, we recommend that users manually back up WhatsApp before November 12, 2018.
Recommended Actions:
1. Confirm that your current Android WhatsApp client is backed up (https://faq.whatsapp.com/en/android/28000019/?category=5245251)
2. If you would like to refresh any existing backups, please manually back up your WhatsApp client before October 30, 2018
