(i) Year-end President's Message
Email from President (18 Dec. 2018)
Dear AIT family members,
We have just said goodbye to the latest AIT graduates at the 130th Graduation Ceremony. So I want to take this time to wish everyone in the AIT family, wherever you are or will be for the holidays, a joyous and healthy holiday season.
As we approach in two weeks the end of the year 2018, we can be filled with hope for the year 2019. Since I became President of AIT on September 1 this year, I have been helped by many AIT faculty and staff, students and alums in striving towards the goal to create a more innovative, entrepreneurial, global, relevant, and caring AIT. Actions are being taken and thinking is being adjusted in this joint effort.
Next year, gradually the new senior leadership team will take shape and we will move even faster, as we steadily work together to overcome the challenges which AIT faces.
However, let us take a pause and spend some time with family and friends during this holiday break. It will be a well-deserved rest for you all at this festive time.
Thank you for your work on behalf of AIT, and let us eagerly look forward to 2019!
May you and your family have a Happy New Year!
Dr Eden Woon
