AIT Distinguished Awards

 

AIT President Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai has announced the launch of "AIT Distinguished Awards". These awards (7 in number) have recently been established by the Institute to recognize and honor faculty and staff for their contributions to the Institute through their teaching, research and service to their professions, as well as to provide motivation to its faculty and staff to get more involved in these activities.

 

Awardees will be presented with a certificate in the May 2015 graduation ceremony, and will also receive specific awards.

 

HRIS Contact Information and Medical Reimbursement

 

Human Resources Office reminds faculty and staff members on the following matters:

 

1. Contact Information in Human Resource Information System (HRIS)

 

 It is imperative that we have a correct record of your personal data in our system. Information such as name of contact person and telephone numbers are very important especially during emergencies. There are still employees who have not provided the above information. Please log in the web link, https://hris.ait.ac.th to update your contact information. Use your AIT email account credential to log in then click “View Employee Profile” and complete the fields in the “Contact Information”.

 

2.  Medical Reimbursement

 

Please be reminded that in order to process your medical reimbursement, you must submit the medical receipt and medical certificate showing the diagnosis and date of consultation to the Human Resources Office within 60 days after the consultation. Reimbursement submitted later than 60 days will not be accepted.

 

ERP Offline

 

Please be informed that ERP will be offline every day, January 6-31, from 11:30 - 13:00 hrs. During offline period, the Finance Department has to process the transaction of Y2014 (Due to Year-end closing).

Please be informed that AIT Conference Center is now serving regular buffet which has started on Friday 9, 2015 with variety menu and special rates as below:

 

 - AIT faculty members, staff, and students: Baht 150 /person.

 - Non-AITians: Baht 185 net/person

Indian Scholarships for Thai students

 

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations of the Government of India is offering scholarships for the academic year 2015-16 to Thai students desirous of pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. studies in various courses in Indian universities, excluding Medicine, Dentistry, Paramedical (Nursing/ Physiotherapy/Anesthesia, etc.) and Fashion.

 

Interested students may approach the Embassy of India, Bangkok at Tel. No. 0-2258-0300-5 ext. 6 or email: info.bangkok@mea.gov.in for more information and application form. The last date of submission of completed applications at the Embassy is 16th January 2015.
