With reference to the announcement of closing of SCB AIT branch, specifically on Personal SCB account – Faculty/staff, SCB already automatically mapped current SCB-AIT account numbers with new SCB-TU account numbers. For those who have not done yet, please present your SCB-AIT passbook at SCB-AIT branch and they will stamp the new SCB-TU account number on your passbook. Please note that the last operating date for SCB-AIT branch office is Friday, 12 June 2015.

To ensure that the new SCB-TU accounts are entered correctly, we request each employee to verify the new account numbers. Please inform Finance/Payroll for any correction.
Directly logging in to AIT's Gmail from Gmail
In addition to the existing interface for logging in to AIT's Gmail (i.e. https://ait-gmail.ait.asia or https://g.ait.asia ), starting from 8 June 2015, you will also be able to login to AIT's Gmail (and other Google Apps) directly from Gmail (https://gmail.com ) by entering your username with @ait.asia domain (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org ). This direct login will simplify AIT's Google Apps access from smart phones and tablets.
Please note however, if you change your password from within Gmail, the new password will not be synchronized with that of your AIT's login account (which you use to login to internal applications such as SIS or HRIS). But if you change your password using AIT's Change Password interface at https://ait-gmail.ait.asia or https://g.ait.asia , the new password will be reflected in both your AIT's login and Gmail account. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you use only AIT's Change Password interface when changing your password.
Please contact Helpdesk if you encounter difficulty.
The AIT Community would like to express our heartfelt sympathies and sincere condolences to Mr. Than Htut Oo, IT Officer, School of Management, whose father passed away on Tuesday night, 2 June 2015. The religious rites and the funeral were held in Myanmar.
