(i) 60th Anniversary Celebrations

Email from AIT President (28 Oct. 2019)

Dear AIT Family Member,

Our three days of celebrating AIT’s 60th Anniversary is now a memory.  I want to let you know that there have been a lot of positive comments and vibrations coming out of those three days, and I want to thank all of you for helping to host HRH Princess Sirindhorn, the visiting university presidents, the other dignitaries, our Board and Ambassadors, and our many alumni who came back to celebrate with us.  Of course, there were things we can do better, and we will improve next time.  But you helped create an impression and energy that will serve AIT well as we go forward to Transform AIT.  We are already reaping benefits from the celebrations in terms of future collaboration and support.  I am deeply appreciative for your help and welcoming attitude to the visitors, and all this reflects well on AIT.

It was not easy pulling everything together.  You all should be proud of yourself!

Thank you!!

Dr. Eden Woon

President
