(Note: Picture taking will take around 2-3 minutes per field of study.)

•Friday, 22 May 2015: 123rd AIT Graduation Ceremonies

-9:30 am: SERD and SOM (Faculty to assemble at the TV Room of AITCC at 9:00 am)

-2:00 pm: SET and UG (Faculty to assemble at the TV Room of AITCC at 1:30 pm)

Notice on the use of Library Main Entrance

From Thursday, 7 May 2015 AIT library users are requested to use only the Library's main entrance since the entrance connected to the Language Center will be closed.

Appointment of Acting Head of the Office of Facilities & Asset Management

I wish to inform you that Mr Jaistit Khemabhirom has tendered his resignation from our Institute with effect from 30 June 2015, and has taken leave since 29 April 2015.

In this regard, I am pleased to announce that Ms Bantu Sireesha has agreed to serve as Acting Head of OFAM with immediate effect until we are able to find a replacement. This appointment is concurrent to her current position as Senior IFM Officer in OFAM.

On behalf of our Institute, I acknowledge Mr Jaistit’s contributions to our Institute over the past six months, and wish him every success in his future endeavors. We also wish Ms Sireesha every success in carrying out this additional assignment.

Notice about copyright infringement from Professor Kanchana Kanchanasut, AIT VP-Research and intERLab Director

Dear AIT Internet Users,

During the past weeks, we have received a number of complaints for copyright infringement by Institute students and employees on AIT network using their accounts to offer proprietary movies for download.

Such violations bring threat of legal action and disrepute to the Institute. It is also clearly stated in the AIT Acceptable Use Policy http://www.ait.ac.th/it_committee/aup that such misbehavior will not be tolerated.

Starting from 12 May 2015, any such complaint received will lead to immediate account suspension, without any warning.

It appears that most of the complaints resolve around using BitTorrent. If you installed BitTorrent but are not using it anymore, remove it. If you may be using it in the future, at least disable it so it will not run anytime you turn your machine on: this will save resources, and this will prevent BitTorrent from sharing material without your knowledge. You should not have pirated material on your machine, but in case you have, don't keep it in a directory shared by BitTorrent.
