1) Urgent Action Required: Removal of Unlicensed Software from AIT Machines

Email from AIT President on 21 November 2023

Dear School Deans and Directors of AIT Centers,

Following up to my previous email to the AIT community last week, I also would like to request each of you personally to take this matter seriously.

In light of this ongoing situation with Adobe claim, I kindly request each of you, as the Deans of AIT Schools and Directors/Executive Directors of AIT Centers, to take immediate and decisive action. It is crucial that you convey the urgency of this matter to your respective staff in charge and instruct them to:

Identify all machines within your school or center that have illegal Adobe software installed. (A list of some identified machines is attached with this email that can be used to locate some specific desktop computers in your building.)
Ensure the immediate removal of any pirated software from these machines.
Create a comprehensive list of all identified machines and document the actions taken.
Report the list, along with details of the corrective actions, to me and also copy to Vice President of Administration, Director Public Affairs and the Dr. Harianto from IT Helpdesk no later than 28th of November 2023

Again, I stress that we must act swiftly to rectify this situation and uphold the highest standards of integrity and compliance within our institution.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
